STEM Explorers provides high quality STEM Clubs and workshops for EYFS, KS1 and KS2
STEM is a holistic learning philosophy that incorporates elements of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a cross diciplinary way. Presenting your children with different problems that they need to solve makes it relevant and meaningful. This exploratory learning approach is about more than just knowledge, it also develops the essential characteristics of effective learners, such as problem solving, communication skills, critical thinking, self confidence, resilience and creativity.
“The whole school from EYFS loved it. It has been one of the most successful science weeks we have had in a very long time. Often the thought of science week and what it may entail puts teachers off but every single of them commented on how seamless and wonderful it was.”
Jude (Science Co-ordinator)
The Explorers' Lab
The Explorers' Lab is a broad and varied programme of school clubs for pupils in KS2.
Whether it’s exploring the properties of materials to design a flood proof house, understanding what plants need to grow to create an irrigation system or investigating forces to design a rocket, your pupils will be engaged in exciting and memorable learning opportunities each week.
With a 72 topics children can attend the club for 2 years and never repeat a session, we think that's pretty unique. We really are committed to nurturing and developing your budding STEM-ists.
storySTEM introduces your youngest learners in Early Years and KS1 to the wonderful world of STEM.
Each week one of 36 interactive stories will be shared to help introduce your children to the world around us. A warm up activity, games and songs will lead into a challenge being set for your children to solve. It might saving pirates, keeping warm in the Arctic or lauching a rocket into space.
We're here to help nurture their innate need to make sense of the world around them, encouraging creativity and curiosity, developing communication skills and boosting their self-confidence.

“I've been home educating for 16 years. We have done science before but I know from past experiences, we have made the best decision to join STEM Explorers"

Welcome to STEM Explorers
Ruth Tsui, creator of STEM Explorers has been working in UK Schools and Nurseries since 2009.
Starting her journey in education working with early years children, she soon became an Outstanding teacher working across the primary age phase.
Ruth left the classroom in 2017 to set up a STEM enrichment education business, bringing hands on STEM to children from the age of 3 years old in her local community.
When Covid-19 hit, Ruth launched an online learning platform which now empowers both teachers (and parents) across the country to feel confident exploring STEM at home or in school.
