STEM Explorers provides high quality in person and virtual STEM Clubs, workshops and resources for nurseries and schools.

Whether it’s exploring the properties of materials to design a flood proof house, understanding what plants need to grow to create an irrigation system or investigating forces to design a rocket,  your pupils will be engaged in exciting and memorable learning opportunities each week.

Created by Ruth Tsui an experienced primary teacher and STEM educator you can be sure that each session is carefully planned with tried and tested activities that are pitched at their level. Perfect for inspiring the next generation of curious scientists, budding engineers and emerging coders.

STEM Explorers is about more than just knowledge, it's about developing essential life skills too…resilience, self-confidence, critical thinking and more.

Welcome to STEM Explorers

Ruth Tsui, creator of STEM Explorers has been working in UK Schools and Nurseries since 2009.

Starting her journey in education working with early years children, she soon became a qualified teacher working across the primary age phase. Ruth left the classroom in 2017 to launch a STEM enrichment education business, bringing hands on STEM to children as young as two years old in her local community.

When Covid-19 hit, Ruth launched an online learning platform, The Explorers' Lab, which now empowers both teachers (and parents) across the UK to feel confident exploring STEM.
